Friday we went to the Tim McGraw, Brantley Gilbert, and Love and Theft concert. Let's just say we had a BLAST!!! We got tickets that were General Admission Pit, that meant right down in front of the stage. In order to get that close you had to go super early to get first in line before anyone. Well, the concert didn't start until 7 o'clock. My crazy husband thought it would be a great idea to go at noon. My words to him: "HECK NO", you're going by yourself then. You go stand in that line and I will come later. He says: "come on Nikki, you can do it, this is a once in a lifetime thing." Okay fine, lets do it. So, we ended up getting to the USANA Amphitheater at 1:00.Yep, we sat there for 6 hours. We are pretty hard core right?! We were 2nd in line. Pretty crazy. We were pretty happy to see that there was only 1 other couple in front of us. Just wait till you see these awesome pictures......
Me and Jordan waiting in line for the concert!
Close enough?!
This is Love and Theft, they opened up for Tim McGraw!
We also caught a Guitar pick from them.
Brantley Gilbert performed next, Jordan was super excited for him, he also caught a Guitar pick from him. He even gave Jordan a "Brantley Gilbert" what's up and head nod, TOTALLY made Jordan's day!
Last, but not least, Tim McGraw!!!!! I just still can't believe how close we got. We got a drumstick from the band too.
He is a great performer, was cool to see how close he got to the crowd, and how he interacted with them.
Can you say totally up close and personal?!!! haha! Ya that's right!! Are ya jealous or what?! Had Jordan take a picture before all the insane/crazy fans next to us plowed me over to get pictures and try and touch him. It was so nuts!! Luckily we got a picture before it was too crazy. But how awesome he sat down right in front of me. Made my day that's for sure.
Of course there had to be a encore. Tim came out and sang a few more songs, and toward the end Brantley came out and they did a thing together.
We sure did have a blast! Thanks babe for taking me to such a fun concert. And I'm sorry for thinking you were nuts to go that early. I am glad we went, it was an awesome experience.
